Pending Photos

If no business rules apply and photo approval is enabled in the Admin Center, new photos are always placed in the Pending section of the photo management. Again, depending on the configuration for your organization, the overview of pending photos will show a thumbnail of the photo and/or a thumbnail of the proof of identity, if applicable. It also indicates a match factor. The match factor works based on integrated technology that compares the uploaded photo with a form of proof or compares to an existing approved photo. It works with color coding where everything under the 40% match rate is red, between 40% and 60% is orange, and everything above 60% is green. Of course, these settings can be adapted in the Admin Settings under the Controller photo section by the administrator. Just like all the other overview pages, also in this page you can create filters that show you only the records you want to see. For example, if your policy is that all photos under 40% will be rejected, a filter showing only the rejected photos makes it easy to do this all-in bulk. Based on the above you can also decide to create business rules that automate your process. For example, you can make a business rule that when a match is 40% or lower, the photos are automatically rejected. When they are between 40% and 60% the photos are moved to Under Review, and if the photos are above 60%, they are automatically approved. Working manually within the Pending section, in the row, right from the Match indicator, you have buttons representing functionality that can be applied to that record. Clicking on the button with the eye will open a popup window with both photos show to make a visual comparison. This window will also offer the possibility of rejecting, approving, and reviewing. You can also view the photo by clicking on the thumbnail of the photo. The View Photo window will open and offers the options to edit this existing photo, upload a new photo via file upload, or capture a new photo at that moment. Be aware that pending photos are not shown in the Controller details page of the person, when photo approval is enabled, profiles that have a mandatory photo, will also not available for production. For the users of the Stand mobile application or website it means that when the photo is uploaded to the system, they cannot upload a new photo until the current photo is approved or rejected. The user will be notified in regard to the status of the uploaded photo and the actions they need or not need to take. The Application Menu is available in all applications by selecting the menu button in the left upper corner. When selected, the menu will be presented from the left and shows all licensed applications. When selecting an application, it will always open in a new window
