Supported Devices

Our CardExchange® products support a wide range of hardware devices to integrate with you enrollment and production process.
In this section you can find all our current supported devices...

  • CardExchange® prints using Windows printer technology. The printerlist below indicates the supported printers for inline encoding. Without inline incoding, all printers that use a Windows printer driver are supported!

    All devices listed here are supported in our current version 10 of CardExchange® Producer. Compatibility with anything other that the current version is not guaranteed and should be checked before purchasing.

    Contactless encoding is only supported in the Business and Enterprise edition of CardExchange® Producer as well the Pro-Smart edition of TrustID.

    Contactless encoding is not supported directly in CardExchange® Visitor

    If a printer is listed as supported for contactless encoding, it is only supported using the encoders listed here. Please check that the encoder fitted in your printer is compatible.

    All devices listed here are supported in our current version 10 of CardExchange® Producer. Compatibility with anything other that the current version is not guaranteed and should be checked before purchasing

    All magnetic encoding is sent using Macro commands through the Windows driver, this has been tested using USB printers but as long as the driver supports sending the Macro commands then this should work over Ethernet as well. Contactless encoding is always done via USB, if you need to print and encode to a remote printer then take a look at our Print Server option along with the Business/Pro-Smart Network editions.
