The photo management section of the Controller offers, when enabled, an advanced way to manage and control photos within your organization. Photos can be provided via many different ways into the Controller application. They can be uploaded via the user’s mobile app, they can be captured at the service desk station, imported, and uploaded as a file. For all possibilities applies that you can provide policies in place that photos need to be a certain way and a certain size. The Controller offers advanced functionality for automatic face recognition but also face comparison and matching based on historic photos and/or proof of identity via comparison passport or driver license photos with the new photo. You can also require a certain quality of the photo, for example a certain pixel ratio. All these features, including the photo approval functionality, can be enabled and configured in the Admin Center by the system administrator. Just like with the production of credentials, photo approval works in a same kind of way and just like with the production of credentials, the flow can be different based on business rules and workflow processes within your organization. Within photo management we have four different stages and these stages are reported towards the life cycle of the photo.
