This problem usually requires a repair of the installation to be solved. It is caused by the fact that something on the system makes changes the properties of the CardExchange installation files (CardExchange.exe or CartdExchange.exe.aservrc). These changes make that the PrinterExchange.dll does not recognize the executable anymore and refuses to execute the request. This dll contains a protection to avoid that it is being called directly by third-party programs.

Often, the virus scanner is the culprit. Maybe you can exclude the CardExchange installation directory from being scanned by the virus scanner.
