What you can try to do is to check the box for "point to image file" when you add the images to the design.
This will just store the path to them instead of loading the actual image onto the design.

This happen last week and now I think it works better than the last time.
My templates are stored locally and I think maybe because of the large file size of images.
And when I open it for the second time it is not responding and I tried to wait and it respond after 10 minutes and what I do is to terminate the software using the task manager.
Are your templates stored in the Data folder?
And is this stored locally, on a network share or perhaps on a remote vpn connection?
The main reason for the templates taking a long time to load is usually that they are on a remote location and they contain large images.
You should not need to close CardExchange, the display may say not responding but that is a default Windows thing, if you wait it should either load the template or give an error message.

Hi,what is the reason for the long opening of CardExchange layouts? Sometimes because of that the CardExchange software do not respond and need to be close.
